Abstract:
Human behavioral traits are heritable. The recent progress in molecular genetics has provided the opportunity to directly explore the linkage between DNA, the material foundation of heredity, and work-related behaviors. In this talk, I will report on a series of studies using the traditional twins, candidate genes, as well as whole genome approaches on topics such as leadership, job turnover, and job characteristics. This set of studies shows how behavior genetics can enrich our understanding of work-related behaviors.
